Rules of Use
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 10:43AM Rules are a part of a civil society and since this site is open to the public and intended to serve as an avenue for everyone to engage in political discourse with each other, we have got a few short but serious rules that we will enforce to protect the integrity of this blog. Please note: The rules may be changed or added to as the editors see fit, but announcements regarding any additional changes will be posted.
YDAR Forum Policy
- No offensive, discrimnatory language. Racial epithets, deragatory remarks on religion, homophobic language, ethnic/national slurs, gender-based remarks and personal insults will not be tolerated. Our view is that society should be past having to use such low, pedestrian language to express ideas and/or personal disdain for someone. Breaking this policy will result in an immediate, automatic ban from all YDA sites.
- No excessive cursing. Think of the rules from the FCC. If you can't say it on broadcast television, don't say it here. There is absolutely no use to employ crude language on this site.
- No threats. Threats of any nature are not welcome on this site. Playful threats are in bad taste and will be edited out. Threats of harm to one's body or livelihood will result in an immediate ban from the YDA site and referral to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Thanks for reading over the rules. Again, short but serious. Please make the effort to stick to these rules and encourage others to do the same.
We're planning on building a better society. This makes for a great starting place.
